SUMMARY

In this episode of #conversationswithAnu Instagram Live series @anu.olanrewaju, my guest Abisola discuss navigating careers in Development and Policy. She answers questions like what is public policy, the role of individuals in public policy and a host of insightful things you should listen to. The experience was interactive, engaging, and beautiful. Abisola began her career supporting the cause for global food and nutrition security, working in agencies such as the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP). Prior to that, she obtained degrees in Law (LLB) from the University of Leeds, and in International Development Law & Human Rights (LLM) from the University of Warwick. She recently obtained a further MPhil degree in Public Policy (2021) from the University of Cambridge, which provided her with the opportunity to take up a placement programme with the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, as a Policy Analyst. Enjoy!
